Climate in Singapore
Being located in very close vicinity of the equator in the South-Eastern part of Asia, Singapore has a tropical kind of climate with cloudy sky throughout the year. Since Singapore lies quite close to sea, its geographical location shows a great impact on its climatic conditions.
There is no distinct season in Singapore as the temperature stays uniform (minimum 23 to 26 degree centigrade; maximum 31 to 34 degree centigrade) throughout the year with high humidity (average humidity- 62%) and ample rainfall (average rainfall-2,370 mm).
Months of May and June are the hottest while November and December being the wettest seasons in Singapore.
Luckily the monsoon blesses the nation twice in a year, but summer receives less amount of rainfall than the winters. Since the eastern part of Singapore comes under rain shadow region, it gets less rainfall and so the climate here is a little dryer than the western side.
