Night Shopping in Singapore

To get into the skin of the lion city, you should experience the nightlife of the city and shopping adds more fun to the night. Since shopping in Singapore is not limited by hours, night shopping is more fun. Late night shopping was initiated during the time of Great Singapore Sale. Most shops had extended their timings and the trend continues. Hit a mall even at midnight and you feel as if the whole city has gathered there! Some of the late night shopping delights are:

Orchard Road

The road known for its countless malls have markets open till late night. Malls like Paragon and The Centrepoint offer many exciting schemes during nights. Come every Saturday and you have great experience in shopping accompanied by delicious dining and entertainment. Be ready to be overwhelmed by the colourful sights and sounds!

Paragon Mall

A good spot for night shopping as it offers many gift vouchers during night. You get very good deals which you rarely get at daytime.

Chinatown Night Market

Contrary to daytime, shopping at vibrant Chinatown Night Market is an eye-opening and unique experience. You can also get decorative souvenirs of feng shui and exquisite items of silk.

Little India

Being one of the busiest of Singapore streets, Little India is mostly visited by tourists and local shoppers. As the place boasts famous Mustafa Centre; the only emporium-cum-departmental store of Singapore which keeps open for 24 hours. Every item of your use -from ground spices to gold jewelry- you will find all available here at the lowest fixed price in Singapore. No doubt people keep dropping in even at midnight!

When in Singapore just get go for night shopping. Even if you shop a little you will have a feel of the city or else you get only the half picture of this city. If going shopping on weekends then it is better to book a taxi to avoid rush and waiting in queue.
