Underwater World
Situated in the Sentosa Island, Underwater World is the largest of its kind in South East Asia. It is a unique and quite well-known oceanarium that showcases the awe-inspiring beauty of a whole different world that lies beneath the sea. Once you visit the place, you find that it is a good junction for leisure and educational experience. Rightly called a dream haven, it is home to around 2500 fishes from more than 250 different species.
How to reach Underwater World
To enjoy this thrilling experience, you can take Sentosa Shuttle Bus from HarbourFront interchange. You can also board the Sentosa Express from VivoCity and alight at Beach Station. From there you have to take the Blue Line bus and get down at the stop of Underwater World. You can also take a taxi directly to Underwater World.
Attractions at underwater world
Your voyage to the bottom of the sea begins with shallow rock turtle and ray pools. As you move forward in the long moving travelator, you are welcomed by bright-colored corals and other exotic ocean dwellers like eels, sea dragons and jelly fishes. Hold you breathe as fearsome sharks and shoals along with other deep-water creatures are also there! You also get a chance to see the dugong Gracie - one of the rarest creatures on this earth, at the end of the tunnel.
Each time you visit Underwater World, you get a new kind of experience as the place is always involved in product renewal and program innovation. On the first level there is the latest themed exhibition hall, which keeps changing its themes based on underwater experiences.
