Cable Car Ride
As a master plan for developing tourism prospects in the country, the government of Singapore had introduced an aerial link from Mount Faber on Singapore Island to the Sentosa, the island resort. Being the first aerial ropeway system in the world to span a harbour( Keppel Harbour) this so-called cable car ride is a centre of attraction for most of the tourists in Singapore.
Actually speaking it is not an aerial tramway but a bi-cable, gondola lift system which has three stations on its way to the Sentosa. Between each pair of stations, there are two towers to support. With its innovative glass-bottomed cabins, the cable car ride is a real fun and adventure as you admire fantastic natural view of Singapore while glancing through the beautiful mountains peaks and passing ships on sea water.
